- 3.Choose Background → None and PNG for transparency. For a form that requires white or JPG, choose that background and format before downloading.
FAQs
Will every thin stroke survive?
Automatic removal can lose faint ink, small dots or pale strokes. Use a sharp, well-lit source and compare the result with the original. Retry or use a manual selection if any part is missing.
Should I download PNG or JPG?
PNG preserves transparent surroundings when Background is set to None. If a form asks for JPG, choose a solid background and download JPG instead. Follow its exact dimensions and file-size limit.
Does a signature image count as a verified digital signature?
No. This tool edits an image. It does not verify identity, create a signing certificate or replace a document-signing service.
Can I use a phone photo of my signature?
Yes, use a supported image format, even lighting and clear ink. Avoid glare, shadows and lined paper where possible.
